[ Hope Pandora didn't have any big plans today, because the pasture's got other ideas. A bizarre flurry of snow whips across the pasture from somewhere behind the barns, hauling an absolutely bewildered teenager with it. She might recognize the look of someone caught in one of the "get along" snow sweaters that have been plaguing the pasture for the past week or so.

This one is coming right for her. ]

[ Pandora has NOT been loving her life lately! How dare she be attacked when she is simply an innocent mirror creature innocently perpetuating violence in ever widening circles! Truly, injustice!

Which is to say she's still kind of cracked from her last fight, and her lil tower on the edge of the pasture is WELL and truly fucked up. She's sort of reshaped it into a moonlike overhang? But it's still surrounded by a puddle of melted and refrozen glass so.

As something sweatered this way comes, she rises from where she was just adding another spike to her tower. Well ... okay, this might cheer her up a little. She makes a lassoing sort of motion. ]

There's a good lad and his bug. A little closer.

[ This was already turning out to be the worst day ever and then she started making lasso motions. He'd given up on trying to get free of the snow when he couldn't get his feet back under him, but that sure has him futilely trying again!!

The snow speeds up, skidding right into Pandora and spiraling around her as it settles into the other half of the frozen "get along" sweater that Ananke's already trapped in ]

[ THERE we go. Pandora makes a delighted noise as she puts a hand on his head. ]

What prompted this, exactly? Just bad luck for you?

[ Leans away as much as he can, which isn't far enough to avoid that ]

[ Just headpats! Gentle, prickly, headpats. ]

Regular luck? Come now, I won't hurt you. I've been so thoroughly chastised.

...Good... I'd really like to not fight you.

[ She makes a hmph sort of noise. ]

I'm not particularly in the mood for violence today either.

[ He tenses up as soon as she does, and Scarab unfurls the suit beneath Ananke's clothes. Just as a precaution. ]

Isn't it better if they leave you alone?

[ SIGH. interfering bug. She just delicately taps on the outside for now. ]

Well, yes, but given that isn't going to happen, I at least want to observe the effects.

[ Frowns uncomfortably and tries pushing her hand away ]

And how many times have I wandered into your space to bother you, hmmm?

[ She's pushed, but she keeps finding more spots to tap. Other shoulder. Hair mussing. ]

They only wanted to talk — stop. Uh, please?

[ Pushes her away again at the same time Scarab extends the armor fully. If Pandora's paying attention, she might notice some struggle for control before the little guy's protective streak wins out against Ananke's desire to look as unthreatening as possible. ]

[ HUH. isn't that interesting. Pandora holds her hand clear of him for a moment as she considers. ]

[ Watching her tensely, one hand still half-raised defensively. Something about this shift in interest feels unsafe! ]
