As you probably know already, there is gonna be a big ol’ fight this weekend between Mirror and a whole bunch of people! Since this is a relatively large event with a loooot of people wanting to do things, I want to get everyone at least somewhat organized so I can plan properly.

I am planning be available to run this event from 6:30 PM EST on Friday, August 29th up until the evening of Saturday, August 30th. That’ll end up being about thirty-six hours of being on-call for threads, minus time for sleeping, breaks, etc. (I will be running errands at some point during the day on Saturday, which will take a few hours.) I’ll try my best to have all threads wrapped up within that timeframe, but knowing me and timezones, there will probably be a few stragglers.

I’m also planning to run this event in three stages, which roughly correspond to Roy’s IC gameplan. The general outline is as follows:

Phase 1: A small group of characters sneak into Mirror’s realm directly to steal back everything she’s stolen from people.

Event Type: Exploradora with some fighting. Group threads at beginning and end, with opportunity for splitting the party in the middle.
IC Difficulty: VERY DIFFICULT! Use of stealth vs. Nintendo-hard boss room is required.
Surprises??: :3ccccc
Slots Available: 5-7 characters max.
Timing: Timezones are flexible, but should be run as early in the weekend as possible.

Phase 2: A large number of characters (either solo threads or groups of 2/3) place arrays on every reflective surface on Court they can find. Also need to lure Mirror out and herd her towards Phase 3 – not 100% of what the planned timing is here ICly, but will be RUN simultaneously with Phase 1.

Event Type: Small conflicts/semi-personalized mongling. All threads will be solo or very small groups (2-3 characters each). This is also your best bet if you just want to throw in an innocent bystander for a quick mongling!
IC Difficulty: Varies– depends on if you get tossed in her realm or not. I will try to honor most specific requests for these threads.
Surprises??: Maaaaybe a couple.
Character Limit: None, but my replies will slow the more groups there are.
Timing: Timezones are flexible, but ideally should finish before the start of Phase 3.

Phase 3: A small group of characters ambush Mirror in a prepared area and proceed to have a FINAL FIGHT that will turn against her pretty quickly.

IC Difficulty: Some peril but mostly a triumphant finish. Heroic sacrifices also possible.
Surprises??: Just the one. :3c
Character Limit: Roy/Aeris/Neah + 2-4 max characters directly involved, no limit on spectators & support.
Timing: NEEDS to take place during Roy/Aeris/Neah availability and after Phases 1 & 2. This means that Saturday evening (EST) is the only option. Please don’t sign up for a direct slot if you know you won’t be available.

So what do I need from all of you? Sign-ups! Note that this is not required to participate in the event, especially if you just want to play in Phase 2, but it would sure help me out. Note that in phases with limited slots (1 & 3), people who signed up ahead of time will get dibs over people who did not. Please fill out the little form under whichever Phase(s) you’re interested in playing in.

I am ALSO providing a separate section to sign up for characters you want to have handwaved into this! I know some folks are at PAX/have Labor Day Weekend plans/are otherwise busy but want their characters included. Just fill out my form and then I’ll comment back to you once the event is resolved to give you a result to play with after you return. People who ARE playing characters in this event are welcome to use this list to go “such and such was here” while things are underway.

Mongle Permissions: Lust regenerates so you can do whatever you want to him! Also violence unsettles him deeply.
Requests: I can't think of anything in particular; I would prefer him getting mongled and if you happen to have a psychological component that would be awesome. You know his buttons--he's sensitive about being made of the SOULS OF THE DAMNED and and be provoked into having identity issues.

Fortunately the last is pretty difficult since everything is firmly attached with metal anyway but. No eye scream either also, please! Mindfuckery would be a-OK, though, I'll try to type up something... reasonably succinct that hits his major trauma points.

OKAY I... dropped the mirrored self identification problem in her other mongling permissions post, uhh. RIGHT he's got a low level desire to just go nuts and fuck shit up kind of grumbling to itself in the back of his head most of the time-- he keeps it repressed pretty well nowadays, but if Mirror wants to let it out to play it will happily do so. Kaito usually pictures it as something monstrous he has locked in the back of his head, so BREAKING CHAINS imagery will work extra well for that.

He's got multiple horrible trauma points she could play with; the best ones would probably involve the time he hugged his girlfriend to death or this one time his old game landed him in an insane asylum, turned his self-destructive issues up to 11, and then made his dad a yandere, AMONG OTHER THINGS. He's triggery about bone-breaking noises for the first one; the second one would... hmm. he'd probably start trying to take himself apart with his teeth, but only if Mirror took off after; he used putting other's needs first as a coping mechanism and would just use dealing with her as a distraction.

:|aaa the only other thing I can think of is he *does* have basically an electronics-based firewall for direct mind control; it requires both voice identification and the correct passcode to get through (and is actually kind of red herring because his father disabled his access to the control mechanism after the aforementioned asylum incident.) Being either able or unable to bust that might be fun to play with depending how this goes so I figured I'd dump it here /o/

Availability: Unfortunately I'm super busy for the whole of EST Friday night but I'll be around for the Saturday morning (and night but that's probably too late)
Mongle Permissions: Basically any kind of physical damage is fine, he's built for it, although I'd rather he not be outright killed. He regenerates pretty well thanks to vampire and can take damage that would kill a human pretty easily as long as his heart isn't pierced with wood (silver will burn and weaken him but not kill him).
Requests: Eliot's a bodyguard by trade and his blood heals so ideally I'd like him to be involved protecting/healing other people who are helping out against Mirror. So let me know if you're reading this and would be into that.

ETA: Roy asked Eliot to help out Riza and/or Havoc so hello you two but if our availability doesn't match up we can work something else out.
